Brajesh Maheshwari – Director and HOD(Physics) at Allen Career Institute, Kota (Rajasthan)

Hardly few months are left for the much awaited All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT 2016). For medical aspirants getting Admission in prestigious medical college is a dream and most of the time it becomes a nightmare for them. To deal with this trouble Mr. Brajesh Maheshwari Director and HOD physics, ALLEN Career Institute, Kota & Mentor of Tejaswin Shah AIPMT 2014 topper is going to share preparation tips on how to crack AIPMT.  Always remember, nobody can do everything but everybody can do something, that’s why something is better than nothing. The expert says that Cracking AIPMT 2016 all depends on time management, preparation strategy, self practice, and hard work.

Q. Nearly four months are left for AIPMT 2016. What preparation plan and strategy do you suggest to the students to balance their class XII board preparation along with AIPMT preparations?
A. Concentrate only on Board examination with the help of NCERT in all subjects for first three months i.e. January, February and March then in last month April concentrate on AIPMT.

Q. You interact with a lot of students on a frequent basis. What are important topics for Physics, Chemistry and Biology that you think students must focus on to perform well in AIPMT 2016 and other medical entrance exams?
A. It is observed since last four year that questions are asked almost equally from all chapters of all subjects so students have to concentrate equally on the full subject instead of few chapters.

Q. Please suggest important books for Physics, Chemistry and Biology that are very important and help the AIPMT aspirants prepare in the best way.
A. There is no limit for books and contents, but at the last days of preparation, student has to go through NCERT books which assist the AIPMT aspirants to prepare in the most excellent way as they carry effective and in-depth knowledge of each and every topic.

Q. Do you think studying only NCERT syllabus would be sufficient for a student to clear AIPMT and other medical entrance exams? Please explain.
A. Yes! Definitely.

Q. What changes in strategy should a student need to bring in preparation in the last 5 months? What importance does solving sample paper hold?
A. During first 3 months, as I suggested in question no. 1, students have to plan. If you are class XII passed then during Jan., Feb., & March concentrate more on Physical Chemistry & Physics because they are numerical & logical based subject and require analytical skill, which cannot be developed in a month that is the continues process.
In last month, April, concentrate more on remaining subjects that requires your cramming skills or in which you have to remember more. Students should solve at least two papers a week during first three months but in last month, you should solve at least one mock test per day between 10 AM to 1 PM so that you can set your biological clock with main AIPMT paper.

Q. Time is a crucial criterion in answering the AIPMT questions. Any suggestions on how a candidate should go about answering since negative marking exists and students need to know how best to tackle sure answers & doubtful ones to ensure maximum marks?
A. Yes Agree, Time is a very important factor while answering the AIPMT paper. As per your comfort, distribute the 3 hours’ time to each subject and attempt the questions in accordance with the time management plan. At first, you should attempt simple and those questions on which you are self-assured. After that, you can solve tricky questions by your attentive and active intellect.

Q. How mock test will help students.
A. Mock tests are very important and help the students greatly. They will absolutely help them in time management and surely pick up their confidence for mains exams.

Q. What should be the key areas to play in this AIPMT 2016 exam?
A. This year the students who cover full syllabus would average as the winner.

Q. Any other message you would like to share with AIPMT 2016 aspirants?
A. Be Bold, Be Cool, Be Relax, Be Confident & Be Positive. These five can change anyone life’s and that’s why boldness changes everything.
