The Mathematical Olympiad Programme in India, which leads to participation of Indian students in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) is organized by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) on behalf of the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. PRE-RMO is the qualifying round to appear in the Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) which is the 1st stage of the five staged Olympiad IMO. The question paper, pattern and criteria for selecting student are under the sole discretion of the regional coordinators. Approximately 3350 students appear for this exam from Mumbai region, which was conducted on 4th October, 2015 from 10am to 12Noon. The results were declared on 15th October, 2015 and cutoff for this year was 55marks.
