BITS Pilani: Special Spot Counselling registration and Choice filling till 8 Jan
Spot around admission starts at bitsadmission.com
For the first time in the history of BITS, Special Spot Round counselling would be carried out. Two rounds of the Special Spot round counselling will be conducted for the vacant seats which were left vacant even after 11 round of counselling.
The major reasons for the Special Spot round counselling of BITS are early start of admission process at BITS and also continuing process for fees refund to the students till 31 December.
BITS Spot counselling is being carried out considering the additional time given to the students for seat withdrawal from BITS after admissions in IIT or NIT. Prior to the spot counselling, seat allocation of the round will be done on 10 January.
All those students would be eligible for admission in such counselling who have either already taken admission in BITS or those who are in the waiting list. Also those students will be eligible for the special spot round counselling who have not applied for the BITS counselling earlier.
Students can do registrations and choice filling till 8 January for the counselling. Students will have to pay Rs 2000 post registration and choice filling in the counselling. Those students will have to pay the fees who are either in the waiting list yet or those who are doing new registrations; however, those students will not have to pay the fees who have already taken admissions in BITS in the past.
