Application for CAET 2025 to Continue till 6 February
The Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET 2025) to be held for admission to the 4-year B.Tech course of IIT Delhi’s Abu Dhabi campus will be held on February 16, 2025.
Its application process has started from Monday, for which online application can be done till February 6. Students of Indian origin will not be able to appear in this exam.

Career Counseling Expert, said that admission to two-third of the seats in IIT Abu Dhabi will be given through CAET 2025 and admission to one-third of the seats will be given through JEE Advanced 2025 Exam.
He said that courses of Computer Science and Engineering, Energy Science and Chemical Engineering are conducted in IIT Abu Dhabi.

CAET-2025 will also be organized in April 2025 after February. The second session exam will be held on April 13. The process of online application for this will start from March 3.
According to the sample papers of the exam, 20 questions will be asked from each subject in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The total number of questions will be 60 and the total marks will be 240.
The question paper of each subject will be divided into three parts. Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in the first part, Single Digit Non Negative Integer Type Questions in the second part and Paragraph Based Questions in the third part.

ALLEN Expert told that CAET is different from JEE Advanced entrance exam on the basis of syllabus, paper pattern and difficulty level. CAET is conducted in pen-paper mode, while JEE-Advanced is conducted in CBT mode.
CAET is conducted in a single shift, while JEE-Advanced is conducted in two shifts. CAET is conducted twice, while JEE-Advanced is conducted once.
The syllabus of CAET is much less as compared to JEE-Advanced. Based on the previous year question papers of CAET, it can be said that its difficulty level is similar to JEE-Main.
The eligibility criteria of CAET are different from JEE-Advanced. For seat allocation under CAET, aggregate of 80% marks in 12th board is mandatory, while for seat allocation under JEE-Advanced, aggregate of 75% marks in 12th board is required.
