Class 10, 12 Board Exams to Start from February 17, 2026

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally released the final date sheet for the CBSE Board Exams 2026. After a long wait, students now have complete information about their examination schedule. CBSE has published the final timetable for both Class 10th and 12th on its official website, cbse.gov.in.

Complete Information on Exam Dates

According to the CBSE final date sheet,

Class 10th exams will be held from February 17, 2026 to March 10, 2026.
Class 12th exams will be conducted from February 17, 2026 to April 9, 2026.

Exams will be held daily from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Some papers will be of 2 hours duration while some subjects have been allotted 3 hours.

The schedule announced in the tentative date sheet released by CBSE in September 2025 has been retained in the final date sheet as well. This means that there has been no change in the examination schedule.

How to Download the Date Sheet

Students who have not yet downloaded their date sheet can easily view it from the official CBSE website. The process is as follows –

First, go to cbse.gov.in.
On the homepage, click on the “Latest Announcements” or “Examinations” section.
There, go to the “CBSE Board Exam 2026 Date Sheet Class 10 / 12” link.
Select your class and download the PDF.
Save the date sheet and take a printout so that it can be used during preparation.
