CBSE Board Exams 2027: Class 10, 12 Datesheet Release Date & Latest Updates

CBSE has started preparations for the 2027 board exams, but the official Class 10 and 12 datesheet is still awaited

The wait for the CBSE Board Exam 2027 datesheet continues as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not yet announced the tentative subject-wise schedule for Classes 10 and 12.

With the examination preparation already underway, students are keen to know the dates so they can organise their revision and preparation strategy accordingly.

CBSE has not specified a date for releasing the CBSE Class 10 and 12 Board Exam 2027 timetable. Students should regularly visit the official CBSE website for authentic updates regarding the examination schedule and other important announcements.

The timeline for the 2027 datesheet has attracted attention because CBSE released the tentative schedule for the 2026 board examinations on September 24, 2025. The final datesheet was subsequently issued on October 30, 2025.

The board had stated that the tentative schedule was released well in advance to provide students, schools and other stakeholders sufficient time to plan their academic activities and examination preparation. Students appearing for the 2027 exams are therefore closely watching for a similar announcement.

The two-exam system for CBSE Class 10 will also remain an important feature of the 2027 board examination cycle. Students should therefore keep track of official CBSE notifications regarding the examination structure, eligibility, dates and other requirements.

For now, students of Classes 10 and 12 should focus on completing the syllabus, practising sample papers and revising important concepts while waiting for the official timetable.

CBSE Class 10 and 12 Sample Papers 2027 Released

While students are waiting for the CBSE Board Exam 2027 datesheet, the board has already released the Sample Question Papers (SQPs) and Marking Schemes for Classes 10 and 12 for the 2026-27 academic session.

The official CBSE Academic website provides subject-wise sample papers and marking schemes. These resources can help students understand the expected question format, assessment pattern, marking distribution and types of questions that may appear in the examinations.

Students should use the sample papers as part of their regular preparation rather than waiting for the datesheet. Solving them under examination-like conditions can also help students assess their preparation and identify topics that require additional revision.

How to Check CBSE Board Exam 2027 Datesheet?

Once released, students can check the CBSE Class 10 and 12 Board Exam 2027 datesheet on the official CBSE website. Students should rely on official announcements rather than unverified dates circulating on social media or other websites.

Until the timetable is announced, maintaining a subject-wise study plan and regularly checking CBSE notifications can help students stay prepared for the 2027 board examinations.
