IISER Bhopal Invites Applications for Summer Outreach Camp 2023

Applications Have Been Invited from Students Interested in Attending a Short Summer Camp from May 15 -20, 2023 in Bhauri, Bhopal

IISER Bhopal has invited applications from students interested in attending a short summer Outreach camp from May 15 -20, 2023 at our campus in Bhauri, Bhopal. Students who are studying in classes IX, X, and XI as of May 2023 can apply.

The camp aims to enable the participants to understand the central role of science in society. This camp will introduce participants to fascinating topics in natural and engineering sciences through lectures and hands-on laboratory exercises. This exposure will be supplemented with critical perspectives from the Humanities and Social Sciences. Additionally, there will be fun activities through which the participants can interact with the senior students.

Summer Outreach Camp 2023 – Important Dates

March 09, 2023	Opening of online application form
April 10, 2023	Last date for submission of the Online form
April 17, 2023	Uploading a List of Shortlisted Applicants for Paying the registration fee of Rs 2000/-
April 24, 2023	Last date for submission of the registration fee
May 14, 2023	Student’s Arrivals on Campus
May 15-20, 2023	Outreach activities

To facilitate homogeneous interaction between the students and faculty members, the seats are limited. After initial screening, the selected candidates would have to pay a registration fee of Rs. 2000/- through the SBI iCollect. The registration fee will include food and lodging expenses for the participants. A doctor will be made available on campus (24 hours) to ensure the personal health and well-being of all the participants.
