Important Guidelines for the NEET UG 2025 Exam Day

NEET UG 2025 exam will be held on 4th May 2025

Very few days are left for the conduct of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG 2025) which is the single medical entrance examinations for admissions in the undergraduate courses of the medical colleges. 4 May is the examination day for NEET UG 2025 Examination.

Over 23 lakh students have filled application forms for the NEET UG 2025. As per the guidelines, the aspirants of NEET UG will be given entry to the exam centre between 11:00 am and 1:30 pm.

The duration of the NEET UG examination will be 3 hours. The examination will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The Admit Cards for the NEET UG 2025 Examination have already been issued.

Exam Day Guidelines

1. Admit Card and Self Declaration Form

  • Candidates must fill up the Self Declaration Form provided with the Admit Card correctly.
  • The same photograph which was uploaded in the Application Form must be pasted on the form.
  • One Postcard Size Photograph in the prescribed format must be pasted and brought along.
  • One Additional Passport Size Photograph must also be brought which will be pasted on the Attendance Sheet.
  • It is mandatory to bring the Thumb Impression of the left hand from home.
  • It is mandatory to bring the Original Updated Copy of Aadhar Card (as mentioned on page no. 3 of the Admit Card).

2. Mandatory Original Identity Card

Students must bring any one of the following original identity cards:

  • Aadhar Card.
  • Driving License.
  • PAN Card
  • Voter ID
  • 12th class Admit Card (with photo)

Note: Photocopies will not be accepted.

At the exam center:

  • Students will be provided with pens.
  • Transparent water bottle is allowed.
  • Disabled candidates must bring their certificate.

3. Dress Code

  • Wearing light coloured clothes is mandatory.
  • For boys: Half sleeve shirt/T-shirt and trousers/pants (without metal buttons).
  • For girls: Salwar-kurta, leggings, pants, trousers, T-shirt and kurti (without metal buttons).
  • Wearing high heel sandals is prohibited. Normal slippers or shoes can be worn.
  • Wearing of Jewels and metal ornaments like amulets, bracelets etc. is not allowed.

4. Items prohibited at the Examination Centre

The following items are prohibited at the Examination Centre:

  • Calculator
  • Mobile Phone
  • Watch
  • Bluetooth Device

Only Admit Card, Postcard Size Format Photograph, and Original Identification Proof are allowed.

5. Important Instructions in the Examination Hall

  • On the OMR Sheet:
  • Fill in the Roll Number, Paper Code, Question Paper Booklet Number and other personal details carefully.
  • Pen ink should not spread while filling the ovals.
  • Cutting, overwriting or erasing is strictly prohibited.
  • On completion of the examination:
  • Hand over both the main OMR Sheet and the office copy to the invigilator.
  • Give the admit card and the form with the postcard photo to the examiner.
  • Do not discuss with any student.
  • Do not crowd and exit peacefully after the exam is over.
  • In case of any problem, immediately contact the examiner present in the exam hall.
