The JEE Main 2021 Result for the 3rd Session (July Attempt) has been Released on the official website of JEE Main shortly. The final answer key was released last evening (5th August) on NTA’s Official Site.
The National Test Agency (NTA) conducted the 3rd attempt of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2021) on 20th, 22nd, 25th, and 27th July 2021. The computer-based test (CBT) was conducted for around 7.09 lakh candidates. NTA administered JEE Main exam throughout the country, across 334 cities and 828 centres.
Since JEE Main is conducted in multiple shifts and considering the varied level of difficulty associated with each of the shifts, NTA follows a normalization procedure based on percentile scores. Percentile scores are the scores based upon the relative performance of all the students who appear for the exam. The marks secured are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees.
Apart from the JEE (Main) 3rd Attempt Result, students unhappy with the score should also prepare for the last phase of JEE main, which is scheduled to be held on 26th, 27th, 31st August and 1st and 2nd September. Admit cards for the examination can be expected by next week. JEE Main result, admit card, and other details will be made available on the official website.
JEE Advanced 2021, the entrance examination for admission to IITs, will be conducted on 3rd October. Candidates who have a secure rank among the top 2.5 lakh in JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. This year, students who missed the chance to appear in JEE Advanced 2020 will also be eligible to appear for the exam. Normally, only the current batch is eligible for JEE Advanced. Nevertheless, the relaxation has been offered as some students could not take the IIT entrance last year due to COVID-led constraints.
