JEE Main 2026 Session 1 admit card contains various information and instructions.
The first page of admit card contains your personal information, such as:
Note: Signatures must be made in the examination hall; do not sign in advance. The photo must be the same as the one you uploaded in the application form.

The second page contains important instructions and warnings related to the examination. It is very important to read them carefully, as violating any rules may result in disqualification from the examination. This page also lists what should and should not be carried into the examination centre.

Only limited items are allowed in the examination hall. The following items must be carried:
The admit card must be clearly and legibly printed.
Only original ID proof is valid. Such as:
Photocopies are not valid; carrying photocopies may result in disqualification.
The pen must be completely transparent. Opaque pens are not permitted. It is best to carry two transparent ball pens.
Only transparent bottles are permitted.
Keep at least 8 copies of the same photo you uploaded on your application form.

Documents required in special circumstances
Some candidates need to carry additional documents: Candidates filling the form with ID other than Aadhaar
If you used a document other than Aadhaar card while filling the form, you must bring a Photo Identification Certificate verified by the school principal or a gazetted officer.
If you have a PWD certificate, it is best to reach the exam centre at least one hour before the start of the exam.
If your photo is blurred or there may be an identity problem, arrive at the exam center an hour beforehand so that the issue can be resolved in time.

The gates of the exam centre are closed half an hour before the start of the exam. If you arrive late, you will not be allowed entry under any circumstances, even if your mistake is minor.
