NEET-UG 2024: State Counselling to Commence from 21 August

The All India Quota Counselling is expected to start from 14 August

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the NEET UG Counselling schedule 2024 as per which the counselling for the 15% quota of All India Quota/Deemed & Central Universities will commence from 14 August and will conclude on 30 October.

While the State counselling 2024 for 85% quota would begin from 21 August and would conclude on 30 October. Counselling will be done for the candidates who qualify for admission in medical college for MBBS through the All India Rank of NEET UG 2024 exam.

The candidate will be able to do MBBS only after getting a seat in this counselling. The State Counseling Boards are also starting the process of 85 percent quota counselling of medical institutions of various states and union territories of the country.

MCC Counselling 2024 to be held for over 2 & a Half Months

MCC NEET UG 2024 Counseling will be done for about two and a half months. Under this, the first, second and third and stray vacancy rounds will be conducted.

With this, the new session of medical education will start from October 1, in which the studies of students taking new admission in MBBS will start.

All India NEET UG 2024 Counselling

The first round of All India quota counselling would start from 14 August and conclude on 23 August. The last date of joining for first round of All India quota counselling will be 29 August.

The second round of counselling for All India Quota would start from 5 September and end on 13 September. Last date of joining for second round will be 20 September. The third round of counselling would begin from 26 September and would conclude on 5 October.

The last date of joining for third round counselling will be 12 October. The stray round vacancy for All India quota would start on 16 October and conclude on 23 October.

The last date for joining for stray vacancy round is 30 October.

The sharing of joined candidates data by MCC will take place from 30 August to 31 August for first round, from 21 September to 22 September for second round and from 13 October to 15 October for third round.

State NEET UG 2024 Counselling

The first round of State counselling for 85% quota would start from 21 August and conclude on 29 August.

The last date of joining for first round of State counselling will be 5 September. The second round of state counselling would start from 11 September and end on 20 September.

Last date of joining for second round will be 26 September. The third round of state counselling would begin from 3 October and would conclude on 12 October.

The last date of joining for third round counselling will be 18 October. The stray round vacancy for state counselling would start on 21 October and conclude on 25 October.

The last date for joining for stray vacancy round is 30 October.

The sharing of joined candidates data by MCC will take place from 6 September to 7 September first round, from 27 September to 28 September for second round and on 19 October for third round.
