NEET UG Counselling 2025: Round 3 Counselling Registration Commences

Reporting to Colleges from 9th October to 17th October

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has begun the third round (Round 3) of Counselling for candidates who qualified the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2025) for admission to All India Quota, Deemed University, and Central University seats.

The registration process is ongoing on the official website, mcc.nic.in. This counselling is conducted for admissions to 15% All India Quota seats across the country, as well as 100% seats in AMU, BHU, JMI, and ESIC.

Registration for this round can be done until October 5th, 2025. Choice filling will begin on September 30th and continue until October 5th at 11:55 PM. Choice locking will be available from 4:00 PM to 11:55 PM on October 5th.

Round 3 Registration Process

To apply for Round 3 counselling, students must log in to the MCC’s official website. The process is as follows:

  • First, go to mcc.nic.in.
  • Click on the “New Registration 2025” link on the homepage.
  • Sign in here using your NEET UG roll number and password.
  • Fill in your college and course choices.
  • Locking your choices by October 5th is mandatory.
  • After successfully locking your choices, you will be eligible for the Round 3 seat allocation process.

Seat Allocation and Result Declaration

MCC will process the seat allocation on October 6th and 7th, 2025. Following this, the Round 3 results will be declared on October 8th, 2025.

Students who are allotted a seat in this round and are satisfied with their results must report to the respective medical college between October 9th and 17th, 2025. Failure to report within the stipulated deadline may result in the automatic cancellation of their allotted seat.

State-Level Counselling

Along with the national-level counselling, the state-level NEET UG Counselling 2025 will also begin on October 6th and continue until October 17th. Candidates who did not participate in the All India Quota or wish to apply for state-level seats can register on the website of their respective state’s medical Counselling authority.

  • Registration Starts: Ongoing

  • Register and lock choices on time; avoid last-minute rush.
  • Keep your rank, cut-off, and college preferences in mind when filling choices.
  • If you are satisfied with the results, report to the college within the stipulated timeframe.
  • If you wish to participate in state-level counselling, utilize both options appropriately.

The NEET UG Counselling 2025 Round 3 process has now begun. This stage is crucial for candidates who have not yet secured their desired seat. The MCC has clarified the deadlines for registration and choice filling, so all candidates are advised to complete the process by adhering to the prescribed dates.

Reporting to the college is mandatory between October 9 and 17, 2025. Only by completing all formalities on time will students be able to move forward on a new journey in their medical career.
