Aadhaar Verification is Taking 7 to 10 Days, With the Registration Deadline Being March 9
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun the application process for the country’s largest medical entrance exam, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG 2024). A large number of students are applying continuously. The deadline for application is March 9.

Students are facing problems with Aadhaar verification during the NEET UG 2024 registration process. Due to the phone number not being linked to Aadhaar and the situation of having the option of a PAN Card, which is also not linked to Aadhaar, they are unable to fill out the form. After this, the process is taking 7 to 10 days. Students should ensure that they link their phone number or PAN Card with their Aadhaar before filling out the form to avoid any inconvenience.

Approximately 20 lakh students have applied for this exam scheduled for May 5. This year, there is a possibility of even more students applying compared to last year. This number could exceed 21 lakh this year. Last year, 20,87,462 registrations were done for this exam, and 20,38,596 appeared for the exam.
This year, the estimated number of applicants is more than 21 lakh. This exam will be for approximately 2 lakh seats, including 1,09,000 MBBS, and 26,000 dental, along with Unani, Homeopathy, Veterinary, Ayurveda, and Nursing combined.
