NIOS Orientation Gave JEE/NEET Students Clarity on Flexible Board Exams and Mentorship to Balance Both
To provide structured guidance to the students preparing for JEE and NEET while studying through the NIOS board, ALLEN organized an NIOS Orientation Session on August 15 at the Sadbhav Auditorium, Samarth Campus, ALLEN, Kota.
The session emphasized how NIOS’s flexible academic structure can help students balance their board exams with their preparation for competitive examinations.
Students received guidance on NIOS academics, exam preparation, and more effective ways to manage both board studies and JEE-NEET preparation.

Students learned that NIOS offers flexibility in scheduling board exams, allowing them to distribute their subjects across different exam dates.
This arrangement can help lessen the pressure of appearing for all subjects at once and give students more time to focus on their JEE or NEET preparation.
An explainer video was also launched during the session to show students how to plan their board subjects and exams effectively.
The video highlighted tips for maintaining a balanced approach to both board exams and competitive exam preparation.

Students were also informed about the role of objective-type questions in NIOS exams and how being familiar with these questions can aid their preparation for competitive exams.
The session also discussed the 75% board marks eligibility requirement for JEE Advanced, helping students see the importance of planning their board exams alongside their JEE preparation.
With a better understanding of examination requirements and timelines, students can make informed academic plans and avoid last-minute stress.
To assist NIOS students throughout their academic journey, ALLEN will provide dedicated academic guidance and mentorship support through a specialized team.
The board support team will provide students with information on NIOS subjects, exams, and academic requirements. At the same time, mentors will help students plan their studies and sync board exam preparation with their JEE or NEET preparation.
The orientation session aimed to help students make informed decisions, understand the flexibility offered by NIOS, and develop a structured academic plan that meets both their board requirements and goals for competitive exams.
