123 ALLEN Students Won NTSE Scholarships

NTSE 2015 – “11^th and 12^th class students to receive Rs 1250 monthly scholarship and those pursuing graduation or post graduation will receive Rs 2000 per month.“

NCERT conducted the 2^nd level of National Talent Search Examination on 10^th May, the results of which were announced on Friday, 11^th Sept 2015. A total of 857 students from all over the country has qualified for the NTSE Scholarship, the list of which was made available on the NTSE official website.

According to Sh Brajesh Maheshwari, Director, ALLEN Career Institute, “123 students of class 10^th from ALLEN’s Pre Nurture and Career Foundation Division has been selected for this prestigious scholarship.”

Out of the 135 students selected from the Rajasthan state, 65 students (48 %) are from ALLEN. It is worth noting that from the 1^st round, 142 students of the institute had qualified for the 2^nd round of NTSE 2015.

As per ALLEN Pre Nurture & Career Foundation Division Chief, Sh Amit Gupta, till yet, the cut off list hasn’t been announced on the official website of NTSE due to which various students and parents are still in doubt. The students selected on the national level will receive a monthly scholarship of Rs 1250 during their 11^th and 12^th. At the graduate and post graduate level, the students will enjoy a scholarship of Rs 2000 per month.

As per the further sub division of the selected students, 775 are from the General category, 68 from the SC category and the rest 14 belong to the ST Category.

In the 2^nd level of NTSE Examination, 50 questions belonged to the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and 100 were of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). 50 questions were also asked from Language Comprehension.

Recently, the Human Resource Development Ministry of the country has announced of giving NTSE scholarships to 2000 students in NTSE 2016 as compared to this year’s 857 students.
