Here are Important Tips for Students to Deal with Such Problems
The National Testing Agency is continuing the application process for JEE-Main 2026, the country’s largest engineering entrance exam. The first session of JEE-Main will be held from 21st to 30th January, and the second session from 1st to 9th April. The last date for applications is 27th November. The application process for session 2 will begin in February.
ALLEN Career Institute’s Career Counselling expert stated that approximately 7.15 lakh students have applied so far. More than 50,000 new applications are being received daily, with the deadline being 27th November.
Many students are reporting that they have already paid their application fees, but despite this, they are being told their fees are still outstanding, forcing them to re-pay the application fee. Such students must inform the NTA via email about their multiple examination fee submissions so they can receive a refund.
Expert explained that in previous years, several such cases have occurred where, even after completing the application process and receiving the confirmation page, the application fee was later credited to their account, but the students ignored this.
Subsequently, as the exam approached, their admit card was not issued. Later, they learned via email from the NTA that the examination fee had not been deposited.
In such cases, students should check their fee status in the application fee column on their login portal before the deadline to avoid facing such a situation after the application deadline.
