The wait for millions of Kerala Board students is finally over. The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, released the Kerala DHSE Class 12 Result 2026 today, May 26, 2026.
The overall pass percentage this year was recorded at 77.97%. Students were excited as soon as the results were released. Students who appeared for this year’s exam can now easily check their results through the online portal and DigiLocker.
The digital marksheets issued by the board will be considered provisional for now, while the original certificates will be distributed through schools later.
Over 4.5 Lakh Students Appeared
This year, approximately 452,437 students appeared for the Kerala Plus Two, or Class 12, exams. The exams were held between March 6 and March 28, 2026. A total of 1,984 examination centres were set up across the state.
Girls Performed Strongly, Boys Lagged
Girls once again performed exceptionally well in the DHSE Kerala Plus Two Result 2026. According to the data, the pass percentage for girls was 86.89%, while that for boys was 68.41%.
This difference indicates that female students have consistently performed better in their studies. Girls have consistently dominated the Kerala Board results for the past few years.
Science Stream Leads
Specifying stream-wise performance, students from the science stream achieved the best results.
- Science stream pass percentage – 83.25%
- Commerce stream pass percentage – 74.21%
- Arts stream pass percentage – 69.16%
These figures clearly indicate that students in the science stream achieved the highest success rates this time. However, the arts stream’s results were relatively low.
