Important Information from NBEMS on Fake Notices Being Spread Through Social Media, Email and SMS

The excitement and preparation among the candidates for the NEET PG 2025 exam continues. Meanwhile, National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued an important notice advising all the candidates to be cautious of fake notices, emails, SMS and false information going viral on social media.

NBEMS has issued a notification to provide correct information to the students so that they do not fall prey to any kind of fraud or misleading activities.

NBEMS has clarified that apart from these websites and WhatsApp channel, it does not have any other official social media handle.

How to identify fake notices?

According to NBEMS, all official notices issued since July 2020 contain a QR code. Scanning this code will open the relevant notice on the NBEMS website. With this process you can check the authenticity of any information.

How are candidates being misled?

NBEMS has warned that some brokers/agents are making fake claims through fake emails, SMS, notices or social media posts, such as:

Claim to provide question papers in advance
Guarantee of getting good marks
Asking for bribe to pass the exam
Sending fake calls, documents or messages in the name of NBEMS
All these activities are completely illegal and fraudulent.

NBEMS never promises good marks to any candidate.
Do not trust any email, call or message claiming to help or help you pass.
If any broker contacts any candidate, report it immediately.
