37th IBO 2026 will be held from July 12 to July 19 at Vilnius, Lithuania
Students from Allen Career Institute, known for their outstanding performance in competitive exams and Olympiads across the country, have once again showcased their talent at the international level.
Saumil Maiti, a student of this prestigious institute in Kota, has been selected for the Indian team for the 37th International Biology Olympiad (IBO) 2026.
Saumil will now represent India at this prestigious international competition to be held in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The 37th International Biology Olympiad will be held in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, from July 12 to 19, 2026. Talented students from various countries around the world participate in this competition.
This competition is considered one of the most prestigious student competitions in the field of biology. Therefore, securing a place on the Indian team is considered a significant achievement.

The results of the Orientation cum Selection Camp (OCSC) organized by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, in which selected students from across the country participated, have been released.
Following this selection process, four students were selected for the Indian team. Among these four students, Saumil Maiti, a student of Allen Career Institute, also made his place.
Allen Career Institute President Vinod Kumawat stated that the institute’s students consistently excel in international Olympiads, and this year too, the students have achieved remarkable success.

The selection process for the International Biology Olympiad is completed in four stages.
The first stage is the National Standard Examination in Biology (NSEB).
The second stage is the Indian National Biology Olympiad (INBO).
The third stage is the Orientation cum Selection Camp (OCSC) ,which is attended by the best students from across the country.
Based on their performance in the final stage, the top four students are selected for the Indian team, which represents India internationally.

This year, ALLEN Career Institute students performed exceptionally well in the Biology Olympiad.
After NSEB, 73 Allen students were selected for the second stage, INBO. Following this, 16 students from the institute advanced to OCSC.
The OCSC saw fierce competition among talented students from across the country, but Allen student Saumil Maiti, through his talent and hard work, secured a place in the Indian team, bringing glory to both the institute and the country.
