ALLEN’s Riddhi and Soumik to Represent India at IESO

ALLEN Career Institute has once again strengthened its reputation for excellence in competitive examinations and Olympiad training. Two talented Allen classroom students, Riddhi Ranjan and Soumik Mandal, have secured their places in the Indian team that will participate in the 19th International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO) 2026.

The announcement of the Indian contingent was made after the successful completion of the Indian National Earth Science Olympiad training and selection process.

The final team consists of four students from across the country, with Allen contributing two members to this prestigious squad.

Selection Announced After Rigorous National Training Camp

According to Vinod Kumawat, President of ALLEN Career Institute, Kota, the final Indian team for IESO 2026 was selected following an intensive training and evaluation program conducted under the guidance of the Geological Society of India.

The national-level training camp was organized from May 20 to June 11 at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MS University), Vadodara.

During the camp, participants underwent extensive academic sessions, practical training, field-based learning activities, and multiple assessments designed to evaluate their understanding of Earth Sciences.

After several rounds of testing and performance reviews, four students were chosen to represent India at the international level. Among them, ALLEN students Riddhi Ranjan and Soumik Mandal emerged successfully, earning the opportunity to wear the national colors on one of the world’s biggest Olympiad platforms.

India to Compete at IESO 2026 in Italy

The International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO) 2026 will be held in Turin, Italy, from August 20 to August 27, 2026. The competition will bring together some of the brightest young minds from across the globe to compete in various disciplines related to Earth Sciences, including geology, meteorology, oceanography, environmental science, and planetary sciences.
