Tamil Nadu Class 10th Result 2026 Declared

94.31% Students Pass SSLC Exams

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has officially declared the Tamil Nadu SSLC (Class 10) Result 2026 today, May 20, 2026. Students who appeared for the board examinations can now check their scores online through the official websites including tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in.

This year, the Tamil Nadu Class 10 board exams were conducted from March 11 to April 6, 2026, across various examination centres in the state. More than 8.7 lakh students appeared for the SSLC examinations.

According to official data, the overall pass percentage in the Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2026 stands at 94.31%, showing a slight improvement compared to last year. Girls once again outperformed boys in the examinations. Girls recorded a pass percentage of 96.47%, while boys achieved 92.15%.

Among districts, Pudukkottai emerged as the top-performing district with a remarkable pass percentage of 97.57%. Several schools across Tamil Nadu also achieved 100% results in the SSLC examinations.

Students can access their provisional marksheets online using their registration number and date of birth. The result is available on multiple platforms including DigiLocker and the UMANG application to reduce server load on official websites.

  1. Visit the official result website
  2. Click on the “SSLC Examination Result 2026” link
  3. Enter registration number and date of birth
  4. Submit the details
  5. Download and print the provisional marksheet for future reference

Revaluation and Supplementary Exam Details

The Tamil Nadu government has also announced details regarding revaluation, photocopy requests, and supplementary examinations. Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for revaluation or appear for supplementary exams as per the official schedule released by DGE Tamil Nadu.

The online marksheet is provisional in nature, and students are advised to collect their original marksheets from their respective schools once available.
