Underprivileged students are Enrolled in ALLEN Shiksha Sambal Programme
Students enrolled in the ALLEN Shiksha Sambal programme got an opportunity to experience the festive spirit of Kota by visiting the ongoing Kota Dussehra Mela.
The visit was organised jointly by LN Maheshwari Parmarth Nyas and ALLEN Career Institute to provide students living away from their families with a homely atmosphere, recreational opportunities and memorable experiences.
During the visit, Kota Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Vivek Rajvanshi welcomed the students at the mela. ALLEN Campus Principal Amit Kabra and other members were also present on the occasion.
Students studying at ALLEN Supath Campus on Baran Road were taken to the Dussehra Mela in buses. Upon reaching the venue, they began their visit by enjoying traditional favourites such as kachori and jalebi.
They later explored the various attractions of the fair, enjoyed exciting amusement rides and watched the thrilling Maut Ka Kuan (Well of Death) show.
Surrounded by colourful decorations, lively entertainment and festive activities, the students thoroughly enjoyed their outing. They also visited different food stalls, where they got to savour a variety of dishes of their choice.
The excitement and enthusiasm of the students remained evident throughout the visit, making it a memorable experience for everyone.
The Shiksha Sambal initiative is a joint effort of LN Maheshwari Parmarth Nyas and ALLEN Career Institute to support academically talented students from government schools who have studied in the Hindi medium.
Under this programme, selected students receive free coaching at ALLEN to prepare for NEET-UG 2027, helping them move closer to their dream of becoming doctors.
Along with academic support, LN Maheshwari Parmarth Nyas takes responsibility for providing students with accommodation and food facilities throughout their preparation journey.
This ensures that students can focus on their studies without worrying about basic living expenses.
Currently, 126 students are enrolled in the Shiksha Sambal programme and are studying at ALLEN Supath Campus in Kota. These students have come from different parts of the country, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand.
Living away from their homes and families, these aspiring medical students are working hard to achieve their goal of securing admission to medical colleges.
Initiatives such as the Dussehra Mela visit provide them with opportunities to relax, interact with one another and experience a sense of belonging while pursuing their academic ambitions in Kota.
