Physics-Chemistry will decide the rank, Biology was average
The re-examination of the country’s largest medical entrance exam, NEET-UG, was conducted today. Vinod Kumawat, President of Allen Career Institute, Kota, said that the level of the paper was better than average. The Physics and Chemistry papers were conceptual. Some questions were also lengthy and tricky. The papers were asked in 4 codes, these codes were 50-60-70-60. In Chemistry, the Physical Chemistry paper was tough; the questions were deep, calculative, and conceptually tough. The questions in Organic and Inorganic Chemistry were also tough compared to the May 3 paper. In such a situation, the rank will be decided on the basis of Physics and Chemistry. The Biology paper was easier than the May 3 paper. The number of questions from the topics has been changed. This time, more questions were asked from topics that were previously rarely asked. Fewer questions were asked from Genetics-Biotech, fewer questions were asked from the chapter Living World, no questions were asked from Anatomy, and more questions were asked from Cell Biology than before. Match the Column was not included in Zoology.
Physics
The Physics paper was overall tough and conceptual. The questions were deep and calculative. 21 questions were asked from the 11th class syllabus and 24 questions from the 12th class syllabus. There is controversy regarding two questions. Two answers have been given in a question on EM waves, whereas none of the given options is correct in a question on error. This should be rectified. Maximum 13 questions each were asked from Mechanics and Electrodynamics. Apart from this, eight questions were asked from Modern Physics and Electronics, five from Thermal Physics, three each from SHM and Waves and Optics.
Chemistry
The Chemistry paper in RE-NEET 2026 was overall tough. The paper included 21 questions from the Class 11 syllabus and 24 from the Class 12 syllabus. A total of 15 questions were asked from Physical Chemistry. Similarly, 16 questions were asked from Inorganic Chemistry and 14 from Organic Chemistry. The maximum number of questions, six, were asked from Coordination Compounds. Similarly, four questions were asked from Oxygen Containing Compounds and three from Thermodynamics. Regarding the question pattern, a total of 36 questions were asked, including three from Single Correct, three from Assertion and Reasoning, four from Statement, and two from Match the Column. Not a single question was asked from Multiple Correct.
Biology
The Biology paper in RE-NEET 2026 was overall easy. It covered 52 questions from the 11th-grade syllabus and 38 from the 12th-grade syllabus. Furthermore, regarding the question pattern, 32 questions were single correct, five from Assertion and Reasoning, 11 from Incorrect, 14 from Fill in the Blanks, eight from Statement, and eight from Match the Column. Not a single question was asked from Multiple Correct. The highest number of questions, 13, were asked from Human Physiology. Similarly, 11 questions each came from Genetics and Biotechnology and Plant Physiology. Ten questions were asked from Cell Biology, nine from Plant Diversity, and seven from Ecology.
