Financial Hardship No Longer Stands Between Preeti and Her Medical Dream

SHIKSHA SAMBAL YOJANAFor 17-year-old Preeti Jha, the dream of becoming a doctor once seemed almost impossible. The daughter of a fruit seller in Kota, Rajasthan, Preeti belonged to a family where meeting daily household expenses was already a challenge.

Today, however, her dream has received a major boost after she secured admission under ALLEN Career Institute’s Shiksha Sambal Yojana, which provides free coaching, accommodation, and meals to deserving students from economically weaker backgrounds.

Preeti has been selected under the Shiksha Sambal Yojana, an initiative jointly run by ALLEN Career Institute and Lakshmi Narayan Parmarth Nyas (LN Parmarth Nyas). The scholarship programme supports academically talented students who face financial difficulties by covering the complete cost of their education, including coaching fees, hostel accommodation, and food.

Following her successful performance in the Shiksha Sambal yojana entrance examination conducted a few months ago, Preeti has started preparing for NEET UG 2027 at ALLEN’s Supath Campus in Kota while staying in the hostel under the fully sponsored scheme.

A Fruit Seller’s Family Struggles to Support Four Daughters

Preeti’s father, 50-year-old Madan Jha, earns a livelihood by selling fruits from a handcart in Kota. Originally from West Champaran district in Bihar, he has been living in Kota for many years in search of better opportunities. The family resides in a modest rented house and owns no agricultural land.

The family’s financial situation became even more difficult after the passing of Madan’s father last year. Earlier, the elderly family member used to provide occasional financial assistance, but that support ended with his demise, making it increasingly difficult for the family to fund their daughters’ education.

Academic Excellence Opens New Opportunities

Despite the family’s limited income, Preeti remained committed to her studies. She completed her Class 12 education from the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education with an impressive score of 83 percent. However, continuing her education and preparing for a competitive examination like NEET appeared financially out of reach.

Her selection under the Shiksha Sambal Yojana has completely changed that situation, allowing her to pursue medical entrance preparation without placing any financial burden on her family.

Government School Student Finds a New Beginning

Having studied throughout her academic journey in a government Hindi-medium school, Preeti believes the scholarship has transformed her future. She expressed immense happiness at getting the opportunity to prepare for NEET at ALLEN, saying that her family’s financial condition made quality coaching almost impossible.

Now, with free educational support, accommodation, and meals, she can focus entirely on achieving her goal of securing admission to a medical college.

A Dream to Become a Doctor and Serve the Needy

Preeti says her biggest motivation is to prove that financial hardships cannot stop determined students from achieving success. She hopes to become a doctor and dedicate herself to serving underprivileged people, believing that someone from a humble background can also make a meaningful contribution to society.

Madan Jha described the scholarship as a life-changing opportunity for his daughter and the entire family.
