Don’t be silent, speak out loud

SP Gautam said that when any incident like molestation occurs, the victim is usually alone. Often, the victim is so frightened at the time of the incident that he is unable to respond.

You must be mentally strong. If something like this happens, speak loudly; in 99 percent of cases, the accused will flee the scene. She explained that the Kalika Patrolling Unit of Kota Police is a specially deployed all-female police team for the safety of women and coaching students.

This team, dressed in plain clothes and uniforms, patrols sensitive areas, coaching centres, schools, and markets 24 hours a day on black scooters. The main objective of this unit is to curb crimes like molestation and chain snatching.
