Three out of the five students in Indian team are from ALLEN
The results of the Orientation and Selection Camp for the 19th International Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad (IOAA) 2026, organized by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), have been released.
Once again, students from ALLEN Career Institute will represent India at the International Olympiad.
Vinod Kumawat, President of ALLEN Kota, informed that the Indian team of 5 students was selected from 51 participants from across the country in the Orientation cum Selection Camp organized for the 19th International Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad (IOAA) 2026. Three out of the five students in this team are from ALLEN Career Institute.
These include Arnav Sehrawat and Pranjal Dixit from ALLEN Classroom Course and Harshil Amit Kumar Patel from the Workshop.
These students will participate in the finals to be held in Hanoi, Vietnam from September 25 to October 5.
The first stage for IOAA-2026 was National Standard Examination in Astronomy (NSEA), in which 143 students of ALLEN were selected for the second stage. In the second stage, Indian National Astronomy Olympiad (INAO), 23 students of ALLEN were selected for the third stage, OCSC.
In the third stage, Orientation cum Selection Camp (OCSC) in Astronomy, based on various written and practical examinations, the best 5-member Indian team was selected, in which 3 students are from ALLEN, who will represent India in the 19th IOAA-2026.
