-
Focus on Revision
Starting new books or new topics at this time can be a big mistake. Strengthening what you’ve already studied is crucial. Revise important topics in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics repeatedly.
Pay particular attention to chapters where you’ve made mistakes in the past. Use short notes, formula sheets, and shortcuts while revising. This will help you cover more in less time.
-
Take and Analyse daily mock tests
Start taking full-length mock tests every day or every other day. But simply taking the tests isn’t enough; properly analyse them which is more important.
After the test, be sure to check, which questions did you get wrong and why, which topics are you repeatedly making mistakes in and how was your time management? Working on your weaknesses is the best strategy at this time.
-
Practice time management
In JEE Advanced, not just knowledge but also proper use of time is crucial. Create an environment similar to the real exam while taking mock tests. Develop a habit of finishing the paper within the stipulated time.
Create your strategy for attempting the paper, solve easy questions first, then medium-level questions and attempt difficult questions at the end.
-
Strengthen formulas and concepts
It is very important to have a strong grasp of formulas in Physics and Mathematics. In Chemistry, especially memorize organic and inorganic reactions and trends.
Dedicate at least 1-2 hours every day to formula revision. If you forget a formula, write it down and practice it repeatedly.
-
Make a list of mistakes
Make a separate copy of all the mistakes you made in the past month. Write down, What kind of mistake was made and What was the correct way to do it.
Be sure to read this copy 2-3 times before the exam. This will prevent you from repeating the same mistake.
-
Take special care of your health and sleep
Many students cut back on sleep during the final days, which is detrimental. Make sure to get at least 6-7 hours of sleep. Eat a light and balanced diet, avoiding oily or junk food. Only if the body is healthy will the brain function properly.
-
Keep stress under control
Stress can be your biggest enemy during this time. Believe in yourself and maintain a positive mindset. If you feel stressed, Take a short walk, Listen to music, Do deep breathing exercises and, remember, self-confidence is the key to success.
-
Plan your exam day in advance
-
- Don’t read any new topics the day before the exam.
- Have your admit card, necessary documents, and exam center information ready in advance.
- On the exam day, go with a calm mind and carefully study and solve the paper.
These last two weeks of JEE Advanced 2026 are the time to channel your hard work. Smart study, regular revision, and the proper use of mock tests can lead to better results.
Trust yourself, learn from your mistakes, and approach the exam with confidence. Success will be the result of your efforts.
