The National Testing Agency (NTA) has provided one final opportunity for candidates to confirm, correct, or update their bank account details to receive the refund of the NEET UG 2026 examination fee. This facility is available for candidates who appeared in the NEET UG 2026 examination conducted on 3 May 2026, which was later cancelled.

Candidates who have not yet submitted their correct bank details or wish to make changes must complete the process on or before 7 July 2026 (11:50 PM). After this deadline, the details submitted will be treated as final, and no further modification will be permitted.

To ensure that every eligible candidate receives the examination fee refund without any delay, the NTA has extended the deadline for verifying and updating bank account information. How to Update Bank Account Details for NEET UG 2026 Refund

Candidates can complete the process by following these simple steps:

Visit the official NEET UG 2026 registration portal.
Log in using the required credentials.
Complete the mandatory two-factor authentication process.
Click on the “Bank Account Details Confirmation/Updation” link.
Verify the existing information or enter the correct bank account details.
Carefully check the account number and IFSC code before submission.
Submit the information to complete the process.
Once the details are submitted successfully after authentication, they cannot be edited again.
Uploading a Cancelled Cheque Is Optional but Recommended
To minimise the possibility of errors, candidates may also upload a cancelled cheque while submitting their bank details.
Although uploading the cheque is optional, it is strongly recommended because it helps verify the bank account number and IFSC code, reducing the chances of refund failure.
