Despite scoring an impressive 600 marks in NEET 2020, Abhishek could not secure admission to a medical college.

According to him, he had applied under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category, but domicile-related eligibility issues prevented him from receiving the expected reservation benefits.

At the same time, his score was not sufficient to obtain a seat through the 15% All India Quota. Missing out on an MBBS admission despite such a strong performance was heartbreaking.

To make matters worse, his family’s financial condition deteriorated, forcing him to discontinue his preparation and return home.

Life Changed Forever After Losing Both Parents

The years that followed were the most difficult phase of Abhishek’s life. In 2021, he lost his father, leaving the family in emotional and financial distress.

To support the household, he joined his mother in managing the family’s small business instead of continuing his studies.
