NEET-UG re-exam is being conducted owing to cancellation of 3rd May NEET-UG exam due to paper leak
NTA has issued a notice to announce opening of the window for updating present Address and Choice of Cities which will remain open till 21 May 2026 (upto 23:50 hrs) on neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates may indicate their 1st and 2nd preferred examination cities.
For students who do not opt for this facility, the existing choice of city will be retained.
No correction of particulars will be allowed except present address and choice of city and no requests for any change will be entertained after 21 May 2026.
No fee will be charged from the candidate. Announcement of City Intimation, Admit Cards, and other details will be intimated later on the official website, by June 14.
NEET-UG Re-exam on 21 June
NTA has also informed candidates of the operational details for the re-examination of NEET (UG) 2026.
The re-examination of NEET-UG 2026 will be held on Sunday, 21 June 2026 and the timing wilp be 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM (IST), including time for examination formalities.
The exam will be conducted in Pen & Paper (Offline), in 13 languages.
