Along with All India Topper, Shubham Kumar, 6 students in Top-10 from ALLEN Classroom have created new record with AIR-1, 2 & 3
ALLEN Career Institute, Kota, has set a new record by securing All India Rank 1 for the third consecutive year in the JEE-Advanced 2026 results released by IIT Roorkee.
With these results, ALLEN has now secured All India Rank 1 in IIT-JEE seven times and has repeated All India Ranks 1, 2, and 3 for the second time in its history.
ALLEN previously achieved this feat in 2016. ALLEN students have secured 6 of the top 10 ranks in the country, with 24 classroom students among the top 50.
This performance once again proves that ALLEN is the most successful and consistent performing institute in the country in producing top national rankers.
ALLEN’s nationwide success was led by Shubham Kumar, a Kota classroom student. He secured All India Rank 1 with a score of 330 out of 360.
Continuing the streak of excellence, another ALLEN classroom student, Kabir Chhillar, secured All India Rank 2 with a score of 329 out of 360, and Jatin Chahar secured All India Rank 3 with a score of 319.
All India Girls Topper Aarohi Deshpande is also from the ALLEN Kota classroom. Aarohi secured All India Rank 77 with a score of 280.
Yashvardhan, who took the ALLEN Online Live Course, achieved the best online result by securing All India Rank 52.
In the list of top rankers, ALLEN Classroom program students Arnav Gautam (AIR-7), Kanishk Jain (AIR-8), Darsh Sikka (AIR-10) have achieved 6 successes in the top-10 ranks in the country.
Moving beyond the top-10, 12 ALLEN students are ranked in the top-20 in the country and 24 students are in the top-50.
Five out of the 7 IIT zone toppers in the country are from ALLEN Classroom. This includes zone toppers from Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Bhubaneswar and Roorkee.
Here are excerpts from the candid interviews of the Top ranking students
AIR-1-Every challenge is a motivation for me: Shubham Kumar
ALLEN Classroom student Shubham Kumar secured All India Rank 1 in JEE-Advanced 2026 by scoring 330 out of 360.
Shubham had also scored 100 percentile in JEE Main and secured All India Rank 6. Originally from a humble family in Gaya, Bihar, Shubham’s success has become an inspiration for millions of students.
For the past two years, ALLEN Classroom student Shubham has proven that proper guidance, discipline, regular practice, and confidence can yield excellent results. Shubham’s success has brought excitement to his family, relatives, and the entire region.
His father, Shivkumar, runs a hardware store in Gaya, while his mother, Kanchan Devi, is a homemaker. Shubham’s elder sister is currently pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science at IIT Patna. The academic environment at home, combined with Allen’s experience and the continued support of his family, laid a strong foundation for Shubham’s success.
Shubham explained that the biggest reason for his success was the sacrifice and trust of his teachers and family. His father always encouraged him to study, while his mother provided emotional and mental support.
He always listened seriously to his faculty and followed their instructions. Whenever a topic seemed difficult, he would repeatedly ask questions.
ALLEN’s faculty explained every concept from the basics, which strengthened his foundation. He believes that if students trust their teachers and study with discipline, they can achieve great success.
He devoted 6 to 8 hours daily to self-study. Revising the topics taught in class that day was a part of his daily routine. He practiced questions daily and focused specifically on his weak points.
Preparing for the JEE can sometimes bring pressure, but he never let it become a weakness. He turned every challenge into motivation and focused solely on his goal.

AIR-1-Girls category-The entire family shifted to Kota for my studies: Aarohi
Aarohi Deshpande, who became the All India girl topper in JEE Advanced with an All India Rank of 77, credited her success to her parents, teachers, and consistent hard work.
Aarohi, a Pune resident, attributed her achievement to four years of consistent preparation and a disciplined routine. She said she never focused too much on ranking, instead focusing on strengthening her concepts and practicing regularly.
Aarohi scored 96.7 percent in her 10th grade and 97.8 percent in her 12th board exams. She previously secured an All India Rank of 99 and a 99.996 percentile in JEE Main.
Aarohi explained that her entire family moved from Pune to Kota for her studies. Her father, Prasad Deshpande, is an IT professional and supported her every step of the way while working from home. Her mother, Amita Deshpande, an environmental engineer, maintained a positive environment during her studies.
My parents never put extra pressure on me, but always motivated me, due to which I could completely focus on my studies.
Aarohi, who was a regular at ALLEN Kota for four years, said that the key to my success was deep understanding of concepts and continuous practice. I used to give regular tests and analyse my mistakes after each test.
She believes that for success in JEE Advanced, not only hard work but smart study, time management and regular self-analysis are also necessary.
“Currently, my focus is on doing B.Tech from IIT. I have not thought about any further plans as of now.”

AIR-2-Attention span and quality learning are essential in self-study: Kabeer Chhillar
Kabeer Chhillar, a classroom student at ALLEN Kota, has secured All India Rank 2 in the JEE-Advanced.
His family is originally from Gurugram, Delhi-NCR. Kabeer, a classroom student at ALLEN Kota for the past two years, achieved this feat through consistent hard work, precise strategy, and self-analysis.
His father, Mohit Chhillar, is an IITian and currently works for a private company in Delhi-NCR, while his mother, Priyanka Chhillar, is a private school teacher.
Kabeer secured All India Rank 1 by scoring 300 out of 300 in the JEE-Main. He previously passed the 10th grade with 98%.
After completing his B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Bombay, Kabeer plans to pursue higher education at the world’s No. 1 Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Kabeer explained that he attributes his success to the guidance of the faculty at ALLEN Kota. He also emphasized his unique study methods, noting that he focuses on attention span and quality in self-study. He analyzed himself after each test and focused on his weaknesses.
He fine-tuned his study strategy before exams. He regularly took mock tests and thoroughly analyzed each paper, improving both his accuracy and time management. Clear concepts are crucial.
Understanding and applying each topic, rather than memorizing, has been his biggest strength. He divided his studies into small targets, created short notes, and made regular revision a habit.
To avoid repeating mistakes, he focused on his weaknesses after each test. He also spends time with friends, which helps him stay mentally refreshed.

AIR-3-Disciplined and regular efforts yield big results: Jatin
ALLEN classroom student Jatin Kumar Chahar has secured All India Rank 3 in JEE Advanced. Jatin has been a regular classroom student at ALLEN for six years.
His family is originally from Goth, a small village in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu district. Jatin comes from a humble rural background.
He passed the 10th grade with 97% marks and the 12th grade with 95.2% marks. He secured an All India Rank of 133 in JEE Main. He has also reached the OCSC camp in all four Olympiads: IJSO, IESO, IOAA, and INCHO.
Jatin explained that success isn’t achieved by a single day of hard work; it’s the daily small efforts that lead to significant results. From the very beginning, he focused on clearing concepts. It’s crucial to understand the subject in depth.
ALLEN faculty explained each topic very well. He paid close attention in class and revised the topics taught that day.
“I took mock tests and analyzed my mistakes after each test. I never focused on marks. My goal was to identify my weaknesses and improve them. I worked harder on the mistakes I made on the tests. I self-studyed for about 7 to 8 hours daily, as I believe consistency is crucial in JEE preparation.
I attribute my success to the support of my parents, teachers, and family. My family’s trust and teachers’ guidance kept my confidence strong. My parents always motivated me. They never pressured me, but supported me in every situation.
Whenever I felt tired, my family and teachers would inspire me again. I want to join the civil service after completing my B.Tech from IIT Bombay.”
Air-7-I am proud to be from Kota: Arnab
ALLEN Kota classroom student Arnav Gautam has achieved All India Rank 7 in JEE Advanced.
A resident of Kota, Arnav has been a regular classroom student at ALLEN Kota for the past six years.
He previously passed the 10th grade with a 95.8% score. He participated in the Junior Science Olympiad OCSC in 2023, the Astro Olympiad OCSC in 2024, and the Physics Olympiad OCSC in 2025. He also received a bronze medal in the Asian Physics Olympiad 2025. Arnav secured AIR 5 in JEE-Main.
“I always had a goal in mind to achieve this. Now, I want to pursue a B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Bombay,” Arnav said. “Whenever the results come out and Kota is mentioned, I feel proud to be from Kota. Preparing with Allen here has strengthened my academics.
I believe that self-study is essential, but coaching support is also essential for proper guidance. A good coach and proper guidance can help hone your talents and lead to good results. I received excellent guidance, and this helped me overcome my weaknesses.
When preparing for an exam like the JEE, it’s crucial to have your doubts resolved immediately, which is only possible with the guidance of faculty.”
AIR-8-The focus was on effective study, not fixed study hours: Kanishk Jain
ALLEN Kota classroom student Kanishk Jain has secured All India Rank 8 in JEE Advanced. For the past two years, Allen’s classroom student Kanishk has secured All India Rank 36 in JEE Mains.
Kanishk has been selected to the world-ranked No. 1 Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His family is originally from Kota. His father, Ritul Jain, is an IT professional in Pune, and his mother, Sarita, is a homemaker.
Jain secured 90.8% marks in Class 10 and 95% in Class 12 boards. In Class 10, he received an Honorable Mention in the Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO), a Gold Medal in the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) in Class 11, and a Silver Medal in APhO.
In Class 12, he was selected for the Indian team for IPhO. He also won a Gold Medal in IJSO and was the Theory Topper.
Kanishk said that ALLEN and Kota are the best combination for JEE preparation. Participating in Olympiads provides an opportunity to understand subjects in depth.
Preparing for Olympiads gave me the ability to solve difficult problems, which also benefited me in JEE preparation. Quality study and understanding of the subject are more important. I didn’t have a fixed study schedule.
I would go to bed early at night and wake up early in the morning to study. Every student has a different learning style, so one should study according to one’s ability and convenience.
AIR-10-Interest in Maths is the reason for my success: Darsh Sikka
ALLEN Classroom student Darsh Sikka has achieved All India Rank 10 in JEE Advanced. Delhi resident Darsh has studied at ALLEN for the past two years.
He secured All India Rank 53 in JEE Mains with a 99.999 percentile. Darsh scored 97 percent in both the 10th and 12th board exams. He has participated in the OCSC camp for the Astronomy Olympiad. He is currently pursuing a B.Tech in the CS branch at IIT Mumbai.
His father, Dr. Kabeer Sikka, is an ENT surgeon, and his mother, Dr. Aashi Bindra, is a neuroanaesthesiologist. Darsh explained that strong concepts, consistent practice, and proper guidance are the keys to achieving any big goal.
Everyone assumed he would pursue the medical field like his parents, but math has always been his favorite subject, and this interest led him to decide to prepare for the JEE.
JEE preparation isn’t limited to solving difficult questions; it also requires a deep understanding of the subjects and concepts of all topics.
“I emphasized a thorough understanding of each topic and regular practice. I believe that strengthening concepts from early classes makes future preparation much easier. In a way, going to Allen made me feel at home.
Whether it was faculty or staff, everyone always stood by the students. The ALLEN faculty and the institute’s environment were incredibly supportive during my JEE preparation journey.”
Darsh says, “I always focused on understanding the subject, not memorizing it. Regular tests, analyzing them, and working on my weaknesses were important parts of my preparation. Participating in Olympiads builds confidence in solving difficult problems, so students should participate in them as well. For this, I took daily walks and played badminton.”
