Result Prepared on the Basis of the Final Answer Key
The KCET 2026 results have been prepared after the completion of the evaluation process using the final answer key released by KEA earlier in May. After reviewing objections submitted by candidates and subject experts, the authority finalized the answers before calculating scores and ranks.
This process ensures transparency and fairness in the preparation of the merit list, giving students confidence that their performance has been evaluated according to the officially approved answers.
KCET Scores Will Decide Admission to Multiple Professional Courses
The KCET rank is the primary criterion for admission to numerous undergraduate professional programmes offered by institutions across Karnataka.
Based on their scores and ranks, candidates will compete for seats in courses such as:
- Engineering
- Pharmacy
- Agriculture
- Veterinary Science
- Allied professional programmes offered through KCET admissions
The rank obtained by a candidate will significantly influence the colleges and branches available during the counselling process, making the result one of the most important milestones in a student’s academic journey.
