A Deep Interest in Science and Astronomy since Childhood
Kabeer’s scientific temperament was evident from childhood. His father says that as early as the second grade, he developed a deep interest in astronomy.
He would read books on planets, stars, and space and was far more curious than most children. Kabeer would spend hours reading books on space science. The family quickly realized his interest in science and technology.
This curiosity later became his greatest strength in preparing for engineering.
Giving up many favourite activities for the dream of IIT
To prepare for the demanding JEE Advanced exam, Kabeer had to sacrifice many personal hobbies and interests.
Kabeer was a passionate football fan during his school days. Sports were an important part of his life. He also enjoyed participating in running competitions and playing the guitar. However, prioritizing his goal of getting into IIT, he temporarily put all these activities aside.
For two years, most of his time was spent studying, taking tests, analyzing, and improving himself. However, he believes that the discipline, patience, and competitive spirit he learned from sports played a significant role in his preparation.

Sending his son to Kota was not easy for his parents.
It is not easy for any parent to send their child away from home at a young age. This decision was also emotionally challenging for Kabeer’s family.
His mother says that initially, sending her son to Kota was extremely difficult. It was the first time the family would be away from him for a long time. But they gave Kabeer the freedom to make decisions and prioritized his dreams.
In the initial days after moving to Kota, there was constant communication. The family encouraged him to take his time and adapt to the new environment. Once Kabeer clarified his goals, there was no looking back.

Kabeer’s father, himself from an engineering background, decided to provide emotional and mental support rather than directly interfering with his son’s studies. He lived close to Kabeer in Kota so he could always be available whenever needed.
However, he never put any extra pressure on him regarding his studies. He believed that Kabeer was capable academically and only needed the right environment and mental support.
Even after exams, the family’s focus remained on the next goal. They focused on future strategies rather than discussing past results.

Mother took charge of his health, food, and daily routine
Kabeer’s mother is a teacher. Despite her busy professional life, she took special care of her son’s health, food, and daily needs throughout his preparation.
She regularly visited Kota, arranged for his room, provided essential supplies, and ensured that Kabeer could focus solely on his studies, free from any domestic worries.
The family believes that when a student is free from the petty worries of home and life, they can fully focus their energy on their goals.
