Son, Prabhat prepared for NEET from ALLEN Kota

The career and coaching city of Kota continues to write stories of social transformation. Talented students from villages and small towns who were once unable to fulfil their dreams due to a lack of proper guidance are now finding their way towards their goals in Kota. Another such inspiring example has emerged in the case of Prabhat from Jaunpur.

A video that has gone viral on social media captures the family’s happiness over this achievement. As soon as Prabhat’s father, Mahendra Kumar Yadav, received the news of his son’s success, he became emotional.

Prabhat’s grandfather, Indra Bahadur Yadav, is also extremely happy with his grandson’s achievement. In a viral video, he can be seen dancing to celebrate his grandson’s success. He says that Prabhat has honoured his father’s hard work and sacrifices through his achievement.

Prabhat Kumar Yadav, a resident of Devkipur village in Machhlishahr tehsil of Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur district, secured an All India Rank of 3864 in NEET UG 2026 and has taken admission to King George’s Medical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow campus.

Prabhat studied at ALLEN Career Institute in Kota. Earlier, he had scored 89.44 per cent in Class 10 and 83.44 per cent in Class 12. His father, Mahendra Kumar Yadav, has been driving an auto-rickshaw in Mumbai for the past 20 years to support the family. Despite limited resources, he left no stone unturned to help his son fulfil his dream of becoming a doctor.

Prabhat’s success as a classroom student of ALLEN Kota has created an atmosphere of celebration not only in Devkipur village but also in around four neighbouring villages.

Prabhat, his grandfather Indra Bahadur Yadav, mother Bansraji and siblings live in the village, while his father, Mahendra Kumar Yadav, has been living away from his family in Mumbai for nearly 20 years, driving an auto-rickshaw. He has lived in a small chawl in Mumbai while working hard to fulfil his family responsibilities.

Speaking about his achievement, Prabhat said that the hard work of his family members and the guidance provided by ALLEN Kota played an important role in his success. He said that he wants to become a good doctor and serve his village and society.

ALLEN founder Dr Naveen Maheshwari said that Kota is helping children fulfil their dreams. By recognising and nurturing their talent, Kota is helping them move forward, and these children are becoming an inspiration not only for their families but also for society and the country.

Success in the Second Attempt

Prabhat used to study while living in his village. With the goal of becoming a doctor, he prepared for NEET for around two years. To prepare better, he came to Kota and enrolled at ALLEN.

He received a 10 per cent fee concession in the first year and a 50 per cent concession in the second year. His father paid the fees through EMI, while Prabhat’s maternal uncle, Dayaram Yadav, also provided some financial assistance.

Prabhat prepared for NEET with hard work and dedication. In his first attempt, he scored 504 marks. He then strengthened his preparation further and secured 627 marks in NEET UG 2026, achieving an All India Rank of 3864.

Enthusiasm in the Neighbouring Villages

Prabhat’s achievement has created an atmosphere of excitement not only in Devkipur village but also in around four neighbouring villages.

Local residents say that the way Prabhat achieved success in NEET despite limited resources is an inspiration for other students in the region as well.

Villagers, relatives and people from the area have been continuously congratulating the family on Prabhat’s achievement. Now, other children from the villages are also approaching Prabhat to ask what they should do to build their careers.
