From Early Preparation to NEET Success: Kritic Jain’s Inspiring Journey
Every year, lakhs of students appear for the NEET examination, but only a few manage to achieve outstanding success. While the destination may be the same, every topper’s journey is unique.
Kritic Jain’s inspiring NEET UG 2026 success story is a perfect example of how early preparation, consistency, disciplined study habits, and the right guidance can help students achieve their dream of becoming a doctor. His journey offers valuable lessons for every medical aspirant preparing for NEET.
Beginning the Journey Early with ALLEN
Kritic Jain started his preparation much earlier than most NEET aspirants. He joined ALLEN’s Pre-Nurture programme in Class 8 after being inspired by his elder sister, who was also an ALLEN student and is now pursuing MBBS.
His parents believed that starting competitive exam preparation early would provide a stronger academic foundation. Looking back, Kritic feels that these extra years helped him understand concepts better and gradually develop the discipline required to crack one of India’s toughest entrance examinations.

Family Support Played a Crucial Role
Behind Kritic’s success stood a family that constantly motivated and guided him. He lives with his parents, grandmother, and two elder sisters. His father runs a medical wholesale business, while his sister’s successful journey towards MBBS motivated him throughout his preparation.
His family ensured that he remained focused, avoided distractions, and maintained a disciplined routine. Kritic believes that their encouragement and continuous support made his preparation much easier.
A Personalized Study Routine Made the Difference
Rather than copying someone else’s timetable, Kritic designed a study schedule that matched his own learning style. Since his coaching classes were held in the afternoon, he utilized the morning hours for self-study. He usually woke up between 4:00 and 5:00 AM and dedicated the most productive hours of the day to difficult subjects.
After attending coaching classes, he revised the concepts taught in class before going to bed. According to him, consistency in following a routine is much more important than simply counting study hours.

Why Physics Became His First Subject Every Morning
Kritic discovered that his concentration was highest early in the morning. Instead of beginning with Biology, which required memorization and often made him feel sleepy, he preferred studying Physics first because it demanded analytical thinking and complete focus.
Once Physics was completed, he moved to Biology and Chemistry. He believes that starting the day with the most challenging subject helps maintain productivity throughout the day.
Taking Short Breaks Improved His Efficiency
Unlike the common belief that toppers study continuously for several hours, Kritic regularly took short breaks whenever he felt mentally exhausted.
During these breaks, he listened to music or had light snacks before returning to his books with fresh energy. He believes that maintaining concentration is more important than forcing oneself to sit for long hours without productivity.
Homework Always Came Before Extra Practice
One of the biggest principles Kritic followed throughout his preparation was giving priority to classroom learning. He always revised the concepts taught in class and completed all homework before solving additional questions or extra books.
If any time remained after completing his regular assignments, he used it to strengthen weak topics or practice additional problems. This simple approach ensured that his fundamentals remained strong throughout the preparation.
Effective Doubt Solving Strengthened His Concepts
Whenever Kritic faced difficulty while solving questions, he first referred to his classroom notes and attempted the problem again.
If the doubt remained unresolved, he marked the question and discussed it with his teachers during the next class. Instead of ignoring difficult concepts, he made sure every doubt was cleared before moving forward. This habit gradually improved both his confidence and conceptual understanding.
A Positive Peer Group Helped Him Stay Motivated
Kritic believes that choosing the right friends played a significant role in his success.
His friends were equally focused on their goals, and together they discussed test papers, analysed mistakes, and motivated one another after every examination. Rather than becoming a source of distraction, his peer group became an important part of his learning process and encouraged healthy competition.
Mock Tests Became the Best Performance Indicator
For Kritic, mock tests were much more than practice exams. Every test served as a report card that highlighted his strengths, weaknesses, and areas requiring improvement. Instead of getting discouraged by low scores, he carefully analysed every mistake and worked on correcting it before the next examination.
This habit of continuous improvement helped him perform consistently better as the actual NEET exam approached.
Managing Distractions During Preparation
Like many students, Kritic enjoyed watching cricket and following the IPL. However, during his NEET preparation, he significantly reduced entertainment and focused on his studies. His family closely monitored his routine, while his friends were equally committed to academics.
As a result, discussions among friends revolved more around studies than unnecessary distractions, helping everyone stay focused on their goals.
Overcoming a Major Setback During Class 11
One of the toughest phases of Kritic’s preparation came when he suffered from dengue during Class 11 and missed nearly ten days of coaching classes. Instead of worrying about the backlog, he first focused on understanding the ongoing classroom topics.
Once he regained his momentum, he gradually completed the missed chapters with guidance from his teachers and dedicated self-study. This practical approach helped him recover without affecting his long-term preparation.
Balancing NEET Preparation with Class 12 Board Exams
Managing both NEET and the Class 12 Board examinations is often considered challenging, but Kritic successfully balanced both. Initially, he also worried about handling two major examinations in the same year.
However, his teachers consistently advised him to focus on conceptual learning, as much of the syllabus overlapped. By following their guidance, he not only prepared well for NEET but also secured an impressive 97.6% in his Class 12 Board examinations.
Revision Strategy That Saved Valuable Time
Kritic’s revision method was simple yet highly effective. Instead of preparing fresh notes repeatedly, he highlighted important formulas, concepts, and frequently forgotten facts in his existing notes.
As revision cycles increased, he could revise complete Physics chapters in a matter of minutes. Organic Chemistry required repeated revisions, while Biology demanded continuous review of important NCERT facts and theoretical concepts.
Maintaining a Mistake Notebook Improved Accuracy
One habit that significantly contributed to Kritic’s improvement was maintaining a dedicated mistake notebook. After every mock test, he recorded calculation errors, conceptual mistakes, silly errors, and frequently forgotten topics. Revisiting these mistakes regularly prevented him from repeating them in future examinations and steadily improved his overall accuracy.
Making the Best Use of Digital Learning Tools
Kritic also effectively used ALLEN’s digital learning platform throughout his preparation. He solved topic-wise questions immediately after classroom lectures, created customised tests for specific chapters, and regularly revised incorrect questions using the Improvement Book feature.
These digital tools helped him identify weak areas quickly and provided additional practice exactly where it was needed.
Preparing Again for the NEET Re-Examination
When the NEET re-examination was announced, Kritic initially found it difficult to regain his study rhythm.
However, after a few days, structured test series and regular revision helped him rebuild confidence. Instead of feeling frustrated, he viewed the re-exam as another opportunity to improve his performance and focused on correcting the mistakes he had identified in the earlier examination.
Looking Forward to a Career in Medicine
With NEET successfully completed, Kritic is now excited to begin his journey in medical college. He looks forward to learning new skills, meeting new people, and moving one step closer to fulfilling his dream of becoming a doctor. His journey reflects not only academic excellence but also maturity, resilience, and determination.
Lessons Every NEET Aspirant Can Learn from Kritic Jain
Kritic Jain’s success story highlights several important lessons for future NEET aspirants. Starting preparation early can strengthen conceptual understanding, but consistency matters more than the number of study hours. Completing classroom assignments before attempting additional material builds a strong foundation.
Regular revision, maintaining a mistake notebook, analysing mock tests, seeking timely guidance from teachers, choosing the right peer group, and staying disciplined throughout the preparation can significantly improve performance. Above all, setbacks should be treated as temporary challenges rather than permanent obstacles.
Kritic Jain’s NEET UG 2026 journey demonstrates that success is not achieved overnight but is the result of years of disciplined effort, smart planning, continuous revision, and unwavering determination.
His story serves as an inspiration for every NEET aspirant who dreams of wearing the white coat one day. With the right strategy, dedicated preparation, and guidance from experienced mentors, every student can move one step closer to achieving success in the highly competitive NEET examination.
