The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) officially declared the seat allotment results for the NEET UG 2026 Stray Vacancy Round on October 19, 2026.

Tallentex 2027-28

As the final phase of undergraduate medical counselling, this round fills all remaining vacant seats across MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc. Nursing programs offered through the official MCC portal.

Candidates who were allotted seats must complete physical reporting, document verification and tuition fee payments at their assigned colleges during the designated window from October 19 to October 26, 2026.

Since this is the final round, no upgradation or “float” options are permitted. Joining the allotted seat is strictly mandatory, and failing to report within the specified timeline will result in the forfeiture of your security deposit alongside disqualification from future counselling sessions.

Physical Reporting Procedure (October 19–26, 2026)

All allotted candidates must physically visit their designated medical or dental college to complete document verification and pay the required tuition fees between October 19 and October 26, 2026.

To ensure a smooth admission process, call the admission office of your assigned institute early to confirm exact desk hours, fee submission modes (such as Demand Draft or Net Banking), and any institution-specific requirements.

Organize both your original documents and set photocopies in the precise sequence specified by the institution. If your allotted college is located in another state, plan and book your travel immediately to account for potential delays and complete verification well before the deadline.

FAQs & Guidelines for Waiting List Candidates

The MCC and medical institutes enforce strict adherence to deadlines, meaning if a candidate fails to report by October 26, 2026, their allotted seat will be automatically canceled with no option for extensions, appeals, or reinstatement.

Candidates who were not allotted a seat in the initial list should regularly monitor the MCC portal for any supplementary waitlist releases triggered by non-reporting candidates.

If you are subsequently called from the waiting list, the exact same document submission guidelines and strict reporting windows will apply to secure your admission.
